Unless Young Thug can create a fucking Lollipop that everybody will feel is infectious from all walks of life, he's doomed. And honestly, he clearly can't produce something on the same level as Dedication 2, Da Drought 3, or even Lil Weezy Ana Vol. 1 (Which honestly had some of the sickest verses both Wayne ever spit, and just any rapper in the game, period. So yeah, denial deeeeeez nuuuutz, bitch.)

That song was in every club, and radio station. Lifestyle was not that big. It was huge for hip/hop fans, but not any others.........................

Say what you want about Thug. He's polarizing. I get it. I personally like dude. Whether he disses Wayne or not. But Quan is legit. No one is gonna consider him the best right now but he definitely has the ability.
Lil Wayne, Drake, Chance the Rapper, Skooly, Rich Homie Quan, 2 Chainz.

Thug's problem is that he has no mainstream appeal that will push him into the masses. Wayne is really the only rapper with tats on his face/body that can go on shows like "The View", "Sportscenter", etc. and people won't be weirded out since he's so big. Even the fucking President named dropped Wayne. This is something that Thug will never be able to do no matter how hard he tries, it can only be done once. Can you imagine him on a talk show
"Today's guest is Young Thug"
"How are you doing Mr. Thug"
Lol at the thought of Obama saying "Maybe you want to be the next Young Thug" on national TV
Shit sounds stupid as fuck. Dude can't perform for shit so that's his other problem
at Lifestyle being huge and comparing it to Lollipop. Lollipop stayed number one on billboard for weeks, Lifestyle didn't get anywhere near it. People know Lollipop's hooks and verses but no one knows what's being said on Lifestyle besides "live this lifestyle" and "Beginning" lol
Also if C5 is too trash to release then why did they let him release INAHB2 or Rebirth. They lost money putting all the promo into Nicki and she flopped lol didn't even pass INAHB2 salesLast edited by EastsideBoi89; 01-30-2015, 01:52 AM.
