Well it’s official... Ye is dropping next Saturday while he is appearing on SNL... this may be enough to confirm that if Wayne doesn’t drop the 21st he will not be dropping the 28th. I personally think C5 could out sell but with YM not yet announcing an official date why take the unnecessary competition.

To be real. Im 1 that doesn't compare well tries not to compare the Carter albums. they all have they own sound. different times too.
I noticed that all the carters except 1 and 2 are so far apart in releases. so they have different times.

I think the reason of not giving us a proper date of C5 may have related to avoid any leak from it. The people (who have C5 illegitimately) probably still tryna sell and make profit of off it. Knowing that the date is announced everybody could wait till the day of release which means there would be no reason for those people to keep C5 exclusive anymore.

Yeah bro chris browns Album dropped on Halloween last year and that was a Tuesday. It just effects you're first week sales since you're starting so late in the week

I agree, no doubt better than carter 4, I’ve heated this before on the forum about the songs suppose to be on carter 5, but when when was dropping singles back in the day they weren’t that good.. lately I think Wayne’s rapping has been legit, so I’d like to see some songs updated with his flow now a days.. I think the album will live up to hype tho

Sure it has been explained by now but the only reason people drop Friday’s is that’s when RIAA restarts its sales count. Ye is going to sacrifice the one day of sales to drop during Saturday Night Live
