Fax it could have been 100k+ higher if YM worked harder.... better merch is a big thing its crazy logic almost had the same pure sales as wayne...

No one really sells mad first week sales anymore though, so it's still pretty good.

keep in mind hits daily double is usually off by a few K compared to Billboard. they were the ones who initially reported c4 did a milli +. they also reported drake did 749k (HITS Daily Double : Rumor Mill - CHART STORY: DRAKE'S STINGING TOTAL) when the official billboard number was 732k. i remember reading the difference was due to billboard was on east coast time while hdd was on west coast - 3 extra hours of sales. dont know how true that is.

hope when the official numbers drop he beats post malone.

Fucking amazing numbers for an album without promo or singles!!! Beat Ems similarly released album by 30k copies and if Travis wouldn’t have had singles they probably would have done the same numbers.

Nah, anticipating a project ain’t the same as them rollin out promo. If Detox dropped tonight would you consider the wait “promo”?

Yeah there wasn't a ton of promo. He needs to roll out some videos though to keep the sales rollin.

I don't understand how this really works. So day 1 it got 40 million streams on Spotify alone, that means 40 million people played the album, or 40 million individual song streams? And how does that translate to this number we're seeing now?
