Lol you been jumping the gun all week

      C5 isn’t touching C2!

Let’s just enjoy it for what it is
Naw that's not what I'm saying tho. C2 is fire for that era. But as much as niggaz say "if he went back to that..." no one REALLY wants that. He wasn't versatile and he wasn't as witty and clever with words as he is now on that project. He was a lot more to the point back then. Ain't shit wrong with that at all. He was still the best nigga doin it. I used to say C2 was my favorite solely because of how raw and street he was and I never understood how niggaz said C3 was better, but over the years I've come to get it. C3 has a lot of different sounds and subjects. From stuntin to personal, but on a more commercial level. With actual effort unlike the machined C4. He had really grown as an artist. C5 is a lot like that, but way more personal and deep and witty. The ONLY reason I won't put it over C3 is because it can't possibly have the same impact as C3.

I'll go back to C3 over C2 9/10 times. I'll prolly say the same about C5 three years from now. When I went back to C1/C2 they didn't get me as excited as I was when it was time to play through C3. Jus to hear him put his thoughts and wit to something different while still being street was mindblowing.

But errbody appreciates different shit. DD3 still the GOAT and I DO wish he could go back to that.

Also, according to Billboard this nigga did 480. I ain't tryna see 472 or 473 no more. Sellin him short.

          • Crazy that if the Billboard projections pan out it will be the first time since like 07-08 that Wayne will have 3 top 10s at once.... and the first time all three songs will be his.

He wasn’t versatile? Or he wasn’t forced to do sell out records yet?

I wouldn’t want him to do songs like mo fire now because it would Be cringe worthy
He had songs like Shooter, then a oh no, the. A hustler musik, then a grown man, then a money on my mind lol that album is versatile as fuck! I traditionally listen to C2 over C3. What y’all call growing and being creative! I call selling out! I’m. It with it! I’ll prolly listen to C5 more than C3 from here on out. C2 can’t be touched tho! Too much flawlessness

                • A week later I still go back and listen to this album. Usually, I would listen to a Wayne project and forget about it in a couple of days.

But this is different, I can see myself still enjoying it for months easily. Wayne gave us a great album
