Man what about the Levels track on D5 that was straight mixtape Weezy all day. That song right there is what told me he can still do it when he wants too. The energy in that vibe. I thought everyone would talk bout that song but its underated. You feel his voice on that straight merked it. That and cream is my fav songs on D5

levels to me, is like part 2 to throw some keys on that mixed with.. welcome 2 the jungle from d2.

the way he started it.. reminds me of his intro on keys, just that shit talking soooo on. and then w vado on there, its like that harlem chemistry revisited..

Whenever people talk about D5, they complain that it's to many tracks... but you take out the interludes and joints without him, and it ain't even that long... imo, ppl just don't wanna admit its a good tape

i think so too.. and i could understand that critique.. if it wasnt a mixtape, it feels like the criteria has changed because all these artist, are turning their mixtapes into albums. 10-12 songs and thats all, but wayne put out, an honest to god, mixtape.

and it was long, cos it was pretty much a damn showcase, if he wasnt rapping on some new shit, he was bringing back an old style or sound, like yeah, i provided you w this live life/ ransom style, old new orleans shit? yeah, thinkin about you, thats me too.

oh you like how yg, future, and all these guys, took pieces of my styles and made careers out of it,

ill go on their shit too, and show you how much better i do it. tape is thorough as fuck, and i dont think anyone wanted to give wayne credit for it, cos people were too ready, to think it was gonna be same dull shit as before.

It was a solid tape but there are still some wack songs that could've been left off doe. Sucks that haters ignored and some others didn't recognize his slight improvement from D4 & IANAHB2 to D5 doe.
