You couldn't be more wrong. Carter 3 was pushed back more than any othe Wayne album and that's why it was the most anticipated album of 2007 & 2008. Just think if Wayne stopped doing features and kept pushing back C5 for a couple years there would be so much hype for it.
that was being pushed back cuz it kept leaking
c5 aint even leaked yet and its been pushed back to a unknown date
its not like only few people know about it, its just that more people will know about an album after push backs. i'm pretty sure without the push backs c3 and c4 would only have sold like 900k first week.
C4 did sell 900k first week, it didn't break the million mark...
and either way, a month or whatever pushback is not gonna push sales up by 100k, you're just assuming that cause Wayne hasn't released an album without pushing it back.

you're also talking about a 2007 Wayne that was at the peak of his career, and had a new song/feature being released every week, he had shit that could fill the void of a pushback, THAT's what made C3 one of the most anticipated albums of 07/08. Now what do we have? A waiting game and a slight chance of a mixtape being released

it sold 960k and worldwide a million so it would probably have sold around 910k which is still 50k. but we only can guess except we will get c5 without push back on may 5th
oh and which other hiphop album reached a million first week without a push back? i'm pretty sure if em pushed recovery and mmlp2 a few times back they both would have sold over a million first week.
em is a more succesful artist than weezy even though weezy is the latest one who reached it.
