The industry isnt the same anymore.. ID fucking love Wayne to go gold in a week and platinum in a month.. But it's just not the same anymore.. No one except jay z, Beyonce and eminem (and Taylor swift) are doing numbers.. And this promo has been trash, so I don't see how Wayne will outsell shady XV who's promo was really good

I still think start a fire is a decent single choice.. But as I said earlier, the bieber or Timberlake tracks would've gone crazy at AMAs. Tina isn't relevant anymore.

totally with you on wayne being talented but i think theres a stark difference in the records he makes when hes in a more focused hiphop space like he is now.. where hes making records like gotti and grindin..

and the space hes in.. when hes making records like lollipop.. which he didnt want to make, and how to love.. which is a far cry from the original hiphop wayne sounds.

thats why i say hes got to work harder for it. hes still a genius tho.sometimes it works. think start a fire is a little too 2004 tho. little generic.and plus milian is terrible.
