5 years of a...somehow hype , that died many times and Wayne's reputation went from "he's finished" to "he's washed up" to "emmet till" (remember that fiasco?) to "poor wayne!" to "weezy is back" to "retirement" to "d6" to "goat" , man it was not exactly a promo :p

I don't understand how this really works. So day 1 it got 40 million streams on Spotify alone, that means 40 million people played the album, or 40 million individual song streams? And how does that translate to this number we're seeing now?

Great sales, Shows waynes in the superstar selling catgory still, Now a days selling anything over 100k is good, 90-100k means your solid, 120-300k means your a star, 300 upwards means your a superstar the moves huge units, 400-500k is pretty much the new million in a week tbh. Of course we are all happy for wayne that he did those numbers...but lets not forget one thing;its tha carter series..and also the project had a lot of anticipation.

The question is,lets say he releases his next project next summer;rebirth 2,ianahb3, or something with a new name,will he still sale that much?
I kinda doubt it..lets not forget the first week numbers for rebirth,ianahb1&2.

I want to see wayne succeed..im just sayin

Back in the day a lot of people listened to Wayne projects mostly for well.... it was Weezy. Didn’t really matter how good the project was back then.... I think people will hear Tha Carter 5 and expect a more mature and higher quality of Wayne music and check for his quality more than just his star power.
