They could've at least put 1 to 3 pop rap hits in there to help extend the longevity of the album for the general audience.

I'm good, I like the grittier traditional rap sound to Tha Carter V, don't really care for the more poppy songs like What About Me, Famous and Mess.

Those aren't hit songs in my opinion. I'm talking more catchy pop-rap songs, those three I don't think were meant to be hits either.

They didn't blow up but they were designed to be commercially successful hits. The only pop song that took off was Don't Cry.

Lol, if Wayne's team thought those were hit songs then they really are clueless. And I like Mess and Famous.

A song like mess would never be a hit... famous wouldnt be a huge hit either unless it had someone like rihanna etc

What About Me doesn't sound like a hit song, with or without Post. Mona Lisa wasn't meant to be a hit, the fact that it almost reached #1 is still crazy to me. And Uproar performance should have been better but Wayne's team is bad. When it peaked on radios it should have been on many spotify playlists and the video should have been so much better. But, again the team isn't very good so it crawled to where it was tbh.

None of the songs on C5 sound like hit songs to me, I said this from the very beginning.

Agree with these parts 100%, What About Me is an ok song that had so much potential but it just sounds kinda lazy and unfinished to me. With a better structure and stronger feature presence it could've been way better. C5 had so much hype to live up to that it could never reach tho so I'm not really stressing over it.
