like i remember posting earlier saying this wasnt the c5 he sed in an interview he "fckin loved". it was like the essay deadline was in a few hours so he just had to write something to get something on the paper

Every song on the OG tracklist was tweaked and we heard the differences on most of them. I'm sure even the new ones were tweaked multiple times. The last thing this album sounds is rushed. I don't get the hate on C5 it's one of Wayne's best albums in my opinion. Does it have its share of fillers and flaws? Of course. But it's expected for an album with as many songs as it had.

C5 for the real fans, imo it was the perfect album for this stage of wayne's career

But if you don't like it that's cool too, it's all a matter of opininon lol

A year and a half after it dropping C5 is a classic to me. Listening to it, I get the same sort of feeling I get when I play C3 etc.
I find Open Letter, Took His Time, Dope New Gospel, and Perfect Strangers to be some of Wayne's most 'relatable' songs.
Certain songs could be improved instrumentally, if Can't Be Broken sounded more like the live version for example but that's not so significant. Songs like Problems which I imagine as my least favourite I enjoy way more than I did at first. The whole vibe of Hittas is a sound that I love. Mess and Demon are oddities, I can't think of many other Wayne songs which sound like them, love em. I don't consider any track to be a filler and I like the song placement.

I'll never forget the day it came out. I went to the funeral of a brilliant and unique friend then came home to listen to the album, Cita sobbing and Don't Cry hit me hard lol.

Legendary days for real Lil Wayne fans.


Only grievance I have is the lack of Scottie Pippen.
