lol i think carter 2 is incredible strong, jsut came to the iddea yesterday, that i think its stronger than madvillainy, which is hard..

carter 2 still stands out.. as one of the strongest rap performances on an album, probably ever.

like 20 something odd songs, he didnt miss a verse... even if a song wasnt perfect, he verses still held weight all the way through,

not to mention starting the album with 7 minutes straight of rapping, the mobb and fly in? i havent heard anything like that, then having carter 2 and fly out..


its like its missed that waynes done concept albums before.... way before watch the throne had the little same beat endings,

wayne was actually rapping slash narrating on the same beats, throughout album..


and the amount of songs w out hooks,, soo much straighttt rapping.. the mobb fly in, oh no, lock and load barely had a chorus, carter 2

yeah, carter 2 is pretty incredible peice of work... think the only 2 albums since, that can really compare, and i wouldnt.. cos there still so different.. but in terms of age of the rapper, like and density of the project..

C1 and C2 is hip hop masterpieces and I think those are better then Illmatic. Why people think Illmatic is so great anyways?
Before Lost Tape 2 is way better than Illmatic imo. Nas best album.

Its not a masterpiece if its already been done. You can hear on Nas's beasts that he try so hard to be like 2 Pac.
Like C1, listen to I Miss My Dawgs for example and tell me its not a masterpiece. It is, it is diffrent and a start of new era, C1 and C2 is just perfect
