Which I find silly.
Cortez almost sacrificed his relationship with Wayne because he didn't think Wayne should carry on taking so much codeine. Wayne himself has said that Mack tells him how his stuff is being received by us (all the pussy lines for example). Wayne has said multiple times that he's "listening to the fans for CV" or such like. And who tells him what the fans are saying? Mack Maine and Cortez. There is more evidence for their not being yes men. People just create convenient delusions. They most likely aren't his most abrasive critics but they know how to deal with him, they're his "brothers" who've known him all his life not some parasitic sycophants. And in any case I don't think Wayne is some psycho or teenage girl that'll go mad at the people closest to him for speaking their minds.

Not terribly well tbh but then he's one of the biggest pop stars ever so...

I think all the fuckery was a lot to do with CM and also Wayne being too independent to be easily "managed".

We don't really know what's been going on. We'll see how the new free YM plays out over the next couple years I guess.

i dont think they yes men they probably check him when he wildin behind close doors and his circle been kinda the same for a long time so im sure wayne treats them well and does right by them or else they woulda been dipped. wayne was dumbing down his music to appease baby karrine in a way confirmed this. wayne comments about his music also confirm this he know he was halfassing it. dj folk also said baby wanted hit singles. nigga even had nicki minaj chasing pop records cuz thats where the money at.
