The voice comes and goes as pointed out with Levels, You Song, Errrbody Remix, etc. Things to play a role to his raspy voice were lean and the amount of times he performed/toured that gave him that hoarse voice from yelling his lungs out.

He had that voice naturally still around S4TW and C4 era with songs like Rollin, Grove St. Party, etc. I think what's somewhat lost that comes back up very rarely was his Southern drawl to his speech/words too. His voice has been sounding deeper (listen to the middle of "Street Chains" then how it goes back to high-pitch after that). It sounded deeper and raspy, but not to intimidatingly deep like it used to.

Same way his voice deepened from C1 to C2/C3 era, it could deepen again.
          Wayne's voice on C2>>>>>

That was when it first starting getting really raspy but still sounded focused and clear. No homo but his voice Grown Man is pretty awesome.

Also I'm not sure if you guys realize it, but Wayne's high pitch voice has been around for like ever. Listen to C1 again. Same pitch he uses now. Especially on Cash Money Millionaires. I know it's probably because he was pretty young back then, but you can definitely see the similarity. That's just Wayne's voice lol.

                      • Does anyone know why he ends the song/album with a line from a new Progressive Insurance commercial? Maybe Flow is the woman on the stairs that wasnt there. She wasnt there again today. I really hope she goes away.
