Lil Wayne isn't "cold". He's very active in releasing music, and doing club appearances. Lil Wayne simply fell off.

I know I've gotten bored of seeing him wear the same shit all the time. Always skating. And enough with this Cash Money drama! Don't fuck with them but quit bringing them up on damn near every song and appearance. Gossiping like a bitch.

I personably feel he's full of himself. He was at the peak of his career nearly a decade ago and it gassed him up. He probably thinks he'll be at the top forever, but it don't work that way. It didn't work for Jay Z, Ja Rule, 50 Cent, and it won't work for Wayne.

              Uh. Yes.
Nobody was fucking with Ja when he with Murder Inc. Shit if only his mega group along with DMX and Jay Z popped off there would've been no G-Unit.

The key to Waynes success as a rapper was consistantsy. He was hot from 2005 (Tha Carter II) through to 2010. After coming out of jail, Drake was now a star and he drops C4, only reason it sold well was becuz everyone was looking to find something better than C3. after that Wayne got cold. He started promoting his clothing and started skating. This is where he fucked up. He jeaoperdized his music career for his clothing career and business ventures and people fell out of love for him. Dedication 4 was average, and D5 was a pleasent suprise, and sorry 4 the wait 2 even gave me hope but he is still not BACK in the peoples view. He needs to go off on Free Weezy Album or hes done. IANAHB2 flopped , if he does another flop album again, hes done. I got hope for Weezy tho

I can't think of an artist who lost popularity due to focusing on clothing, Wayne is the same. He is cold cause his music post-c4 was nowhere near as good as before. That's plain and simple.

He might've lost too many fans in that time to ever be what he once was. But the hip hop community is taking notice of him again. He has been spitting hot hot flames

Was listening to C2 yesterday front to back. Holy fuck. Wayne did fall off man.. The quality he was putting out back then is just insane.

                      I said:
Ja Rule at his prime was Jay Z level.
He was in a group with Jay and DMX.
These 3 were a three headed monster.
