it definitely is. it's not hard to compete with TBIH, Lights Out, 500 Degreez, IANAHB, Rebirth & IANAHB2

Yep I love all of them but they're not Tha Carter series tier. Not dissing any of them but FWA is a lot better than them.

Agree. It's the same with calling the album a classic. Throwing that word around so loosely devalues albums like C2 and C3. If FWA is a classic then what are C2 and C3, which are far superior? The album can be good or great without being a classic. The same way some of the songs can be great without being top 10. Wayne is not capable of making a song that will go into his top 10 at this point, and that's not a bad thing. His top works are that good, and are constantly devalued by prisoners of the moment claiming that every other song by Wayne is possibly a top 10 wayne track when they're simply just good tracks.

I liked C4 when it dropped. I really did. But I also noticed the shitty production and lazy flows right off the bat. I still think it has great songs on it. 6 Foot 7 Foot, John, Abortion, Novacane, Nightmares of the Bottom, and Up Up and Away are probably my favorites. I can see why HTL and Mirror are even great songs though iont play em. But the rest is a mess of blah.

Ion't know what I consider his top songs to be, but I don't think C3 is far superior at all in any way.

Lil Wayne, Drake, Chance the Rapper, Skooly, Rich Homie Quan, 2 Chainz.

This might sound weird, but I can see someone saying He's Dead is one of Wayne's best songs as opposed to Street Chains. He's Dead has a dope concept, dope lyrics, and it's in a way pretty personal and reflective. Him properly closing the book on one point of his life. It's not necessarily DEEP, but it really paints a picture.

Street Chains is what Wayne has been doing since he came into this shit. It's fuckin' dope, but it's not new. There's nothing to gain by listening to it besides the enjoyment of his wordplay and wit. It's no different than one of his many mixtape tracks or even album cuts. It's like David Banner fr. Not to say it still can't be one of hit top songs in someone's eyes, but I can see the reverse.

The only songs that I would throw in the top 20 debate are "London Roads" for the ending message and "Glory" for being the song that ultimately restored our faith in Weezy. Top 20 is less about the song itself and more about what it did or what you felt like listening to it. If it was strictly about the songs it would be impossible to rate them with the drastic differences in peoples personal taste and opinion.

With all that being said neither of the songs I mentioned are even in my top 5 on this album yet I recognize what they are worth.
