not to be a dick to any of the comments, but most of you are all biased lol, tbh I think drake is bigger than wayne was in 2008. If you think about it, who's more approachable, wayne or drake, obviously drake. lil wayne ran the music industry in 2008 easily no doubt that was waynes year, but wayne was just about music. Drake is everywhere man, he's an actual genius with exploiting social media.

Drake is everywhere, talked by everyone, young teens, adults, shows, movies, on every type of social media there is, like there is a vine section for "Dance like Drake". That video hotline bling tbh was corny af but he knew people would talk about it whether it was saying good or bad about it, it meant more exposure for drake.

So think about it, wayne only had the radio, and tv and magazines, and mixtapes to get exposure, who knows how much more exposure wayne would have got if he was in the social media era.
