It's dope af. Iont even mind Mannie at all. I think he made it hype and Wayne just toyed around and slayed it.

          • On first listen, this tape didn't impress me too much. I wasn't feeling the auto-tune or the overuse of "nigga" at the end of his bars. I also didn't find many quotable bars like his mixtapes are known for. To say the least, I was pretty disappointed with the project. I came onto the forums after my first listen and as expected the majority of you weren't feeling it either.

However, after listening to it over the past week my opinion on it has changed completely. This is actually my favorite Wayne project this year and I'll even go as far as saying it matches the quality of the original No Ceilings. Although there were more quotable bars on that tape, NC2 has far better flows, but both tapes are catchy. I also don't mind the auto-tune anymore. The only thing I dislike about the tape at this point is Mannie Fresh's intro. It's pretty embarrassing lol. Other than that, the features were on point. I understand the complaints about the remade instrumentals, but luckily for me I never cared for the original versions of those songs (aside from Hotline Bling) so I didn't know the difference lol. None of the songs on this tape are awful, but there are a few that I will frequently skip. Overall, this is a memorable mixtape, one of his better projects. 4.25/5

same for me, used to hate it cuz of the beat remake but i gave it a chance yesterday and wayne actually spit his ass off.. Now i officialy like every song on the tape lol.

Btw wayne's lyrics on this project are a1 but ppl are too focused on other stuff to notice tbh

                      • To be honest, Live From The Gutter lowkey is the hardest straight-spitting track without a chorus that felt almost half as hard as "Tha Mobb" in yearrrrrrs. That's lowkey because it's so cool to hate Contemporary Tune.
