After mad listens I'm def loving this project more and more. There's endless fire bars here, y'all. I remember when FWA came out and a lot of you didn't "get it" because it was unlike any previous Wayne project up to that point. I feel like NC2 is the same. Some of y'all may not like autotune (I don't mind it, but I do get annoyed when he sounds like a wannabe thugger or future flow and lyrics wise) but that's really just the means to deliver the message... And the message is pretty fucking dope.
Read these lyrics if u can't make them out right away, because there is straight fire almost the whole way thru. Some clunkers here and there, but that's par for the course on any Wayne project. He goes so hard here. A lot of these verses sound like the dope ass features he been giving thru 2014-15... Maybe more than S4TW2 or FWA. He sounds pretty fucking unhinged and passionate -- like he's making his new vision come to life.
Wayne be having the last laugh here, boys. Sorry to say, but this shit is dope af. Guarantee it'll be a classic in 8-12 months time. Maybe sooner. It's a total grower.
BTW- even the intro is flames. Gets me hype af. Mannie is weird with his voice and his bisexuality (lol) but when weezy comes in slangin that Jamaican flow i swear it takes me back to drought 3 intro. Lyrics are nothing spectacular but they're just a bit of fun before the tape starts proper. Then B2B is straight fire IMO. This coming from an 07-head. Lol.
