i havent been on this shit in a minute and i already know everyones gonna whyle out & come for me for saying this but dude....this tape is fucking awful im sorry. has no one even realized how horrible his voice has gotten. like, im not even talking about the autotune. i mean the pitch of his voice LITERALLY sounds like kermit the frog is stuck in the back of his throat at this point and he does not know how to switch up his flow. he just keeps going higher and higher and higher and then he gets stuck like that the rest of the song. it physically makes me anxious. i play one track from d6 then one track from NC immediately after & its absolutely mindblowing to me that its the same person.

can we talk about how this dude LITERALLY FORGOT HOW TO USE AUTOTUNE. he isnt in the right key 3/4ths of the time and it just sounds so out of place now. like do you not all remember how he used to just fucking FLOW with the autotune and use that shit like an instrument. uptown/paradice/priceless/everything i do/staring at the world ... THAT is the autotunechi i remember. now he just fucking screams at the top of his lungs in the wrong key and raps a mile a minute to the point where you cant even understand him. i cant.

I agree, wayne should stop singing, it sounds terrible, on the second part. I dont think the tape is that bad tbh.

thats the key right there. traditional rap. i dont mean to hate hard cuz i used to be fuhkingg obSESSED with wayne to the point where i didnt listen to anything/anyone else..but like, this just isnt wayne to me. i can FEEL him trying to sound like everyone else. i miss the lil autotuned moan's, the long drugged out autotune *IN KEY* notes when you could just tell he was feeling himself & the music. i cant help but get frustrated cuz its just sad to me that this is what he's come to. i wish i could just sit him down and be like dude...WHAT are you doing.

dude im not even asking for it to sound like his old shit im asking for him to not sound mentally retarded in every single song like i cannot fathom how everyone is okay with how his voice sounds lately. that high pitch post nasal drip sinus infection flow needs to GO. to me everyone is just accepting it because they feel like they have to cuz wayne hasnt done anything in so long. its garbage im sorry. maybe if he didnt sound all coked out in every song it would be tolerable.

and please changing his style give me a break changing his style would be a BLESSING at this point because hes been stuck in this shitty fucking flow since sftw2. right now wayne sounds like hes trying to sound like everyone else in the rap game and completely forgot his own style/swagger and that is the most depressing part of it all. i refuse to be a part of the yes men saying everything wayne puts out is good when its not.

bank account the autotune in the beginning/end is in the COMPLETELY wrong key which drives me fucking insane because he used to literally be an autotune expert..now its like he has no idea what hes doing with it so that immediately ruined the whole song for me. also his rapping in that song is too fast & spazzy, thats just not waynes flow lets be honest. i like it when he takes his time spits coherent clever lyrics that i have to actually go back and re listen to to understand the meaning. now hes just saying random nonsense as fast as he can. yeezy sneakers SHOULD have had autotune on it that was a missed opportunity if there ever was one. & xo tour life was a disaster dude i couldnt even make it through that song again because hes rapping so fast its just fucking irritating i dont even care what hes saying thats how bad it is.

not one dude im sorry lmao. aaaand back 2 back was decent up until the end, the hills would have been fantastic if yet again his voice didnt sound like someone raised the pitch to the highest possible setting. other than those two the rest of the tape was horrendous.

This might sound stupid but the first two times I listened to it I liked it but I kinda understood what TrukDaWurl is saying about his voice and rapping really fast. But the third listen I ate some shrooms before listening and my perspective completely changed lmao. It was a mind blowing experience. I felt the way I did when I heard no ceilings for the first time. Now it sounds like some of the hardest shit I’ve ever heard from Wayne. I can’t stop listening to it. Can’t wait for part 2!
