Why is everyone hating on Back to Sleep?

I don't hate it it's my 2nd favorite off reloaded after for nothing lol Wayne a fool with that "BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEEEEP BEEEEEP" line though in the beginning but he killed it

I just listed 6 tracks that i like less than Back to Sleep from Reloaded. I could add Suwu, and 5 Star to the list. 27/35 are great replayable tracks for me. Thats just what happens with weezy because he makes so many different types of tracks

The best part about his tapes is everybody has a different favorite track. I love that variety

it's tough to compare drought 3 to this cause since then Wayne has grown a lot as an artist and gone through so many different styles. Since drought 3 he's done the rock album, IANAHB series, and even that EDM shit with mannie not to mention he hangs with skaters now. That said, there's a lot more elements to Wayne's approach as an artist and a lot more different sound not to mention music as a whole has changed as well. There's obviously gonna be various types of tracks now a days on a Wayne project, something to suit everybody. He clearly can still rap his ass off as shown by for nothing, thought it was a drought, and back from the 80s to list a few. It's a FREE mixtape tho let the man try things out and sounds and get some feedback so that when he starts releasing albums they're the best they can be. On a side note tho, I love reloaded and fw every track on it but that's my opinion it's not right or wrong. To each their own fellas, respect that

Another thing too, sometimes u guys gotta open and appreciate some music for what it is. Not everything is gonna sound exactly how u want it to. What other artist do u hold to this kind of standard expecting every single track to be 10/10. Not many. For this many tracks Wayne has one of the best quanity to quality ratio out of any artist out there. Dudes the GOAT

Main Things might be the closest we have seen in terms of melodic wayne from the DD3, C3 sessions, etc. Sounds straight from that era.

I miss the Wayne that was super melodic and would just ride beats in a catchy way. Not complaining, but most of the songs on D6 he has a super quick flow where he takes no breathes in between bars. I wouldn't mind more of a balance between the melodic songs and the pure rap songs. Just me $.02. Love D6 tho

So I have listened to D6 Reloaded completely several times and have gone back and forth on my opinion. Let me preface this by saying I used to be a Wayne Stan and still really appreciate a lot of his music, but I have realized that this tape just isn't for me. Wayne has lost some of his allure for me and it sucks. Sure there are some really good songs on this, but for the most part I'm not too big on it. I honestly would give it like a 6/10 which bums me the fuck out.
