You need to be an abosolute superstar to pull off half a milli numbers like Drake or Kendrick Lamar do. Wayne just isn't that anymore. Carter 5 should do something around 150-200k numbers though, which isn't bad at all in this day and age.
Rick Ross did 100k and people said those were decent numbers, times have changed.

Really? I'm a realist bro. I'm not throwing shade or trolling with this or anything you're claiming to be shade. simmer down a bit.

To me I think he should easily hit 1 mill if half the supporters who are vocal become financial supporters. Even with streaming in mind.. I think 1 mill physical copies isn't out of reach if the vocal fans truly want the album.

Why no cds? I'm more curious about this because I have a unopened cd collection of various albums.

cds are dead now sadly i like physical music as well but streaming is what makes money now CD'S are seem as a waste of time there will be no physical sales to track this time gurantee

there may be a "special limited" release of CDS that you get online for a limited time but thats as close to CD sales they do these days

I have a lot of "alt" music scene like Post Hardcore bands such as Dance Gavin Dance and Slaves.. I just ordered their latest album (Beautiful Death) So it may be a rap only thing that's leaning that way. A lot of these bands in the alt scene are putting out vinyls with every album/ep they release as well as actual cassette tapes and of course cds. But as someone who has a huge unopened collection this is great for the value but also sad people are leaning that way.

Birdman said he would not sell as much, I think it's false.. Birdman said in a recent interview that he only listened to some C5 songs, and that it would be the album of the year ... Wayne said that only one song would make the album go platinum. But if I sold 1 million in 2 weeks, I would be happy.

i think wayne is more respected now than befo the lawsuit, so i dont kno about a milli first week, but hes gonna sell atleast 500 first week. maybe even close to 750.

he is the god of this new generation
