Do Remixes of songs not chart?

Why did talk to me remix not chart but talk to me original is going up and up?

Can't remember the last time I heard an actual remix and not just a verse added to a song and no other changes. Not much incentive to listen unless you're a fan of the artist who is added.

What do you mean by "talking"? Random people on the streets having a conversation about a music remix? Fact is the Talk To Me Remix has over 20 million views on youtube which is quite a lot.
