Is it though because I don't see anyone talking about the remix anywhere

talk to me isn�t on any charts. The remix views on YouTube is what�s pushing it. It�s been Tory�s biggest song for the last week on YouTube, and it�s pulling in about 5 million views a week according to the YouTube charts. It�s about to pass Uproar and the official Talk to Me video in views in a shorter amount of time lol.

The remix only charts if its overall performance it higher than the original. Talk to Me Remix is definitely the reason the original is rising, but the original has been out for months so the overall performance is still higher than the remix.
