I can't understand why they wait so much with releasing the album, they were teasing it back in May(!), and then nothing...

tbh i'm good with only one album every year, but they gotta give us at least 4-5 singles between the albums, especially when wayne is in the studio every day.
and tbh i think we should stop blaming cortez and mack, it is totally wayne's responsibility

IDK what artist you listen to but most artists release singles before the album... Even Rick Ross did it.

However some artists just like to release the album then let the people choose which song should be the singles. Or a mixture of both:
For Drake's Scorpion orignally In my feelings wasnt going to be a single but it was huge due to the dance etc
Travis Scott did something similar to this with astroworld for the latter singles. Sicko Mode became second single and yosemite was third.

I think it really depends on the artist on if they should release singles before the album or not. Honestly right now Wayne shouldn't. He should just do songs like POMS before the album where he is a feature but has huge part in the song.

4-5 singles is a bit much tbh. I think Wayne is better off dropping the entire album. I would actually like to see him be more like future and drop 2 albums a year around 18+ tracks each.
Or Wayne could drop a commercial mixtape just a collection of songs he recorded that are good but didn't make the album then drop a yearly album after that.
