When you have actual standards to judge by, the only thing that changes over time is the more that you notice, so if something is good it actually gets better over time. And if it isn't good by those standards, you never would've liked it in the first place.

Who cares if you think a track "sounds good" to you? Only you. Enjoy that but it's not relevant to anyone else. The only thing that's relevant to others is something that has a common, objective standard like length of rhyme, double meanings, etc etc. Things that factually are there or aren't there.
