Why isn't anyone talking about some of the great lines, rhymes, jokes? I'm interested in anyone who wants to dig in with me.

People usually have a lesser opinion as time goes by. Hence why people liked C4 when it came out but then said it was lame after listening it a few times. Same reason Funeral had decent first week sales but hasn’t gone gold yet.

When you have actual standards to judge by, the only thing that changes over time is the more that you notice, so if something is good it actually gets better over time. And if it isn't good by those standards, you never would've liked it in the first place.

Who cares if you think a track "sounds good" to you? Only you. Enjoy that but it's not relevant to anyone else. The only thing that's relevant to others is something that has a common, objective standard like length of rhyme, double meanings, etc etc. Things that factually are there or aren't there.

Broadly speaking they're not there in IANAHB2. In NC3, they're here.

first of all I was referring to the lines/jokes etc not the quality of the tape itself.
also, tell me why ppl on here hate on everything as soon as it comes out but create threads about how underrated/overhated certain tapes are months / years later?

People usually create threads on how underrated this is because it’s a Lil Wayne fan site filled with Lil Wayne fans. If people think an album is underrated it would usually sell more over time.

Feels good man. Love hearing the excuses they come up with. My fav is that it’s better than NC2 which isn’t exactly a feat since it was a 5/10 tape at best, or you have to listen to it multiple times to like it
