Lol thats not true. First no ceilings, he used different flows than original songs. Or even when he used same flow, he didnt recycle their lines.

I understand I feel a similar way about the project too. A reason I feel this happened is cause of the album leftovers. I do like it better than NC2 cause of the autotune being waay better, but ofc this is a long way from the legendary nc1 lol.

Well he actually did do it on a lot of Drought 3 songs including Upgrade.
It's just that nowadays he tends to sing along with the original melodies more and often goes back into the same couple of flows... unless he's on a more 'old school' sort of beat where he just sounds way more fluid and creative, or something like Big Bad Wolf where he just destroys the beat.

Lol it’s absolutely true. Just like you can name songs where he’s done his own thing, I can name songs where he’s done the opposite, repurposing flows, lines, and melodies. He’s literally ALWAYS done it. Either or. Even on this very tape there’s songs where he went completely away from the established song. Come on, bruh.

And again, I’m not even defending the tape. I think he went way too melodic on this shit. But that criticism is dumb af.
