There was a time when Wayne stood atop of the world and some might say, was even overrated. But shit happened, mistakes were made by him and his team, for years he was stopped from releasing C5 etc etc... and that's when the rise of social media with the new rappers took over. Dont get me wrong I have nothing against the new gen; there are talents and goats in the making. But it saddens me that people who didn't experience wayne in his prime aren't willing to give his music a chance cause of his damn reputation. And others who did experience his prime believes "he fell off" and don't wanna give his new music a listen. Like damn bruh make up your mind lmao.
And also people just don't get wayne man! His biological father walked out on him, baby backstabbed him, his stepfather murdered when he was 14, raped at 11, attempted suicide at 12.... shit fucked him up yet he was still (and still is) able to give us such bangers after bangers of music. His best work ain't even official releases. Even if you prefer consistency or deep rapping or whatever the hell these new rappers bring that ya think wayne can't... I just don't see how people at the very least, can't be fascinated by the artist that wayne is and respect him as one of the greatest, who made the game it is today.

Thank god he's not Kendrick. I'd be so bored.
