my biggest issue with NO CEILINGS 3

yes i ammmmm cuz his voice & energy sounded perfect. they're just fun songs to listen to. d6 sounds like it was recorded in fast forward cuz he's just spazzing out on every song. nothing enjoyable about any of that whatsoever to me.

A lot of D6 sounds like waynes loose rhymes from songs he couldn't release forced onto released beats personally wouldn't say D6 is trash i do dig it and think wayne went hard on it but agrwe wholeheartedly about ianahb2 delivery, voice being a lot more enjoyment to the ears to listen to

I Ain't Nervous (Best song on the whole album), Love Me, Gunwalk, GBA & Trigger Finger I agree with.

But Days & Days, Beat The Shit lol, No Worries & Trippy. No. None of those come close to anything on D6.

it's so hard trying to explain this to people without like physically talking in person, but one of the #1 reasons i became a wayne fan was because of his voice. i had never heard anyone sound the way he did back in the day & it just instantly blew my mind & i needed to hear anything & everything he's ever made. now with that said, i can blast days & days, beat the shit, no worries, trippy, etc in my car on a sunny day w the windows down and have a fucking blast whylin out to all his crazy nonsensical lyrics & just have fun. i literally cannot do that for a single song on d6. his voice grates my ears in the worst possible way its beyond nails on a chalkboard. along with that the beats (to me) are all absolute garbage & the spazzy-fast paced rapping he does on every song just sounds absolutely terrible imo. i literally need to hear that raspy drugged out wayne voice to be able to listen to the song. and 80% of the shit he made from 07-2015 had that. currently he doesn't sound anything like that anymore. the main reason i have such a hard time listening to his new shit is cuz of his voice & the way he continues to rap. it's changed so much since i became a wayne fan it's like i'm listening to a different person at this point. idk. like i continue to say nothing after FWA has hit my ear like his music used to.

thank you. his voice sounded so much better on ianahb2, in my eyes it makes up for all the dumb lyrics throughout that whole album cuz he sounded so fucking good on every song. like my dad says everytime i play him any new wayne shit.. "he sounds like an old black lady yelling.. that's not wayne".

Ok that's definitely one thing about IANAHB 2 I can't complain about was his voice. But he had a lot of garbage lyrics on the album overall. But I get where you're coming from. As far as current Wayne i know it bothers y'all a lot but his voice doesn't bother me at all. Only song that it did bother me was on "Thug Life" other then that haven't had an issue with his voice. As far as D6 goes. I still love that tape. Yes some of the beat selection was questionable. "Back In The 80's" is a perfect example of a poor beat selection cuz lyrically that song was fire. The fast rap also doesn't bother me, I actually like when it does it. But I guess at the end of the day it all comes down to preference. But to me If I like what he's staying then I can get past the voice and all the other shit. But I've always said I love raspy voice Wayne and if I had to pick I wouldn't pick the way he sounds today. But occasionally he has a voice in a random song or feature that we like. But it seems to me that he enjoys and is sticking the current voice he does.

The name has nothing to do with how awful NC2 and 3 are. Actually, I’d Wayne didn’t have a NC1, people who have said he fell off after C3 instead of NC
