The entertainment industry is extremely anti-trump, Wayne could probably have dropped another C3 and still would have a better chance of being invited to tea with the Queen than the Grammys.
basically beyonce runs the grammys now
jay and beyonce got too much power

as far as whats "in", they gave anderson paak the award for best melodic rap song over The Box, LNCL and Rockstar. If they were going for whats in, it would of been one of those 3 haha

According to the website, members are only supposed to vote on their “area of expertise”. Doesn’t look like that’s happening.
First-round ballots are sent to voting members in good dues standing. To help ensure the quality of the voting, members are directed to vote only in their areas of expertise; they may vote in up to 15 categories in the genre fields plus the four categories of the General Field (Record Of The Year, Album Of The Year, Song Of The Year and Best New Artist.) Ballots are tabulated by the independent accounting firm of Deloitte.

In other news, they may not consider him eligible. Think using it as an ash tray qualifies as “used for other than its intended purpose”?
GRAMMY Award winners sign and agree to the following terms as a condition precedent to receiving a GRAMMY Award Statuette:
        Acknowledgment of Terms
The GRAMMY® Award is the most prestigious honor in the world of music and reflects the judgment of your peers that your creative contributions merit recognition of the highest order.
In order to protect and maintain the integrity and prestige of the GRAMMY® Awards and to ensure that the GRAMMY® statuette (“Statuette”) that you have been awarded is used solely for its intended purpose of honoring your creative contributions, the National Academy of Recording Arts & Sciences, Inc. (“Recording Academy”) requires that you acknowledge and agree to the terms set forth below as a condition precedent to granting you possession of the Statuette.
You acknowledge and agree that possession of the Statuette(s) — but not ownership (which is reserved to the Recording Academy) — is granted to you upon the express condition that you will not use the Statuette(s) other than for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. the thing i hate most is people swear they dont matter (ex. Saying grammys arent important because Nas doesnt have one) but then turn around and celebrate now that Nas has one. Like it still doesnt mean shit lmao.
