[OFFICIAL] Lil Wayne and Rich the Kid - "Trust Fund Babies" Album Thread

This album was a bad idea. I knew Wayne would try to sound like Rich because it seems like he’s been trying hard to appeal to the young music audience. He needs to work with someone that will challenge him lyrically not trash rappers that make hype music. A collab album with Em, Tyler, or Kendrick would be good for him. I feel like they would agree to do a tape with Wayne if he asked.

His team is also dropping the ball with promotion. Feelin Like Tunechi should’ve been a radio hit but then again I still feel like Wayne is blackballed

Wayne is not growing as a human being and it affects him musically. It’s like his growth is stunted. He is trying so hard to be at the top that he doesn’t realize he’s falling off. All this music he’s putting out is a failed effort at creating trendy Tik Tok music. He’s still living the same life he was 15 years ago… Sex, Drugs, Gangs, Self Destruction, Ignorance ..he’s almost 40 and needs to grow up. Like Mannie Fresh said Wayne needs to go outside and see the world he is clueless about what is going on in life man. It’s hard to evolve and make good music when you are living the same repetitive toxic lifestyle for so many years.

How do you know it wasn’t sent to the radio? Rich had Dj’s playing it on his ig story. Wayne’s either blackballed or his teams sucks.
