he definitely did. subject matter wise to from 2014-18.

We wouldn't get a Open Letter, Lost, Bloody Mary, London Roads, Mama Mia etc from 07-09 Wayne
that's not true lol, did you forget about C3 sessions? Songs like How Can Something, Pray To The Lord, All Alone, Someting You Forgot, Trouble, Cry Out are honest and meaningful as it gets.

No. Wayne has NOT gotten lyrically better. he's gotten word heavy, lost his confidence and it's made for songs not having that magical feeling anymore. He has god flows and that's cool, but give me the 2005-2011 era any day. he was a better song maker. he said things in a more beautiful way compared to now honestly. he's also rapping about fake stuff that's not really relevant to him anymore. at least his 2000s stuff was more believable. he's really not ever been in the streets since making it. Not a hate post. but honestly.

Hate to say it but you’re 100% right.

Although I will say I think the music industry as a whole has declined since Wayne’s prime. Streaming turned rap into fast food music and Wayne has to adapt

Wether you think if Wayne has become lyrically better or not depends entierly on what you look for in lyrics.
Me personally i think Wayne is way more lyrical now than he was 2010-2014.
with a bunch of Lines like: they say «insert a Well known quote» Well Thats Why «insert a narsistic twist to it»
Bitch Im in the building and you «insert somewhere not in the building»
supa dupa bars were lame too with a few exceptions.

            I hate them thirsty bitches
            Cut them off like circumcision

Nigga yes tf it has. That’s why new artists have no staying power. And “lyrically” is not always technical. Have Wayne gotten better as a technical rhymer? Sure. But give me songs like Abortion and Nightmares of The Bottom instead of some freestyle over a off brand Tupac beat

The older version of Wayne would win this.
