When you don't visit this forum for a while or just less frequently and then you come back and read what people post, the level of negativity here seems pretty ridiculous.

i'm sorry dude. i just cant with his voice anymore. the poor use of autotune. the fast-paced sporadic style of rapping he cant seem to let go of or evolve off of.. it just doesnt do it for me. i need that old punchline/metaphor/make you stop and rewind to analyze wtf he just said wayne back. i'm 27. my entire teens was the c3/nc/sftw/rebirth/c4/ianahb/ianahb2/d4 era. i cant let go of that. it was just too good and nothing he does will ever compare to that in my eyes. i know everyone has their own opinions & there's no point in arguing about it anymore because everyone like's what they like, & for me that was that wayne era.

i competely get your point though, his voice pre 2015 was amazing, like just listen to Wish You Would from D4, the way he raps and the way he sounds is something else man

oh dude don’t get me wrong there are always a few new songs here & there (lose, dreams) where i love his voice & wish he would just stick with how it sounds but then it goes right back to the high pitch fast paced overly autotuned nonsense & i can’t take it. but yes that’s so funny you bring up d4 me & my boy were JUST bumpin that in my car & he’s not a big wayne fan whatsoever but he goes “jesus christ dude why can’t he sound like this anymore”. further proving my point that even non-wayne fans see the problem.
