Why doesn't banned from NO have a second verse by the way? You're working at least 3 years on this album just to regurgitate a few wack bars throughout the second half of the track? WHY?

I'm like 3 or 4 listens in and I still like the album a lot! Cotton Candy is a catchy ass song, Bells is so gritty, and Loki's Theme rocks. I will say though, some songs go on for a little too long. Bells & Banned from NO did not need to continue after they died down towards the end.... cuz then it just picks back up with a half chorus or something and the natural flow of the songs are ruined.

Also, what happened to the features on this album? Big Sean killed it, but no Nicki, Drake, Tyga, Lil Baby, Travis Scott...etc. Instead, we got Lil Novi.

I'm trying to pretend this album never existed. It was that bad!
those other features were never confirmed.

So Wayne team ain't tell him he already rapped on Banned From TV beat? The song 🔥 but Wayne gotta have the worst management team in the industry!
The people Wayne has around him SHOULDN'T BE ON A PROFESSIONAL LEVEL! Wayne surrounded himself with YES MEN that WON'T TELL HIM ANY BETTER!
A Side of the album up until Island Holiday is 🔥 but Blood could've kept the whole B Side besides Written History. 10/19 is giving grace for who he used to be! 🤦🏾‍♂️

Wayne desperately needs a producer to work with for an album. Imagine an alchemist Wayne album or really any producer to shape the album for him. That’s why he raps so good in features and others people song but has the wackiest songs of his own

Man im so disappointed man ...

Fabian is useless. How hard is it to do a good wayne album.

You get a 15 joint album

Wayne is always on point with intro and outro thats 2 tracks

1 track with drake where they are both spitting

1 track with the big 3 hit single

1 track with jcole or em

A track with juiceworld to build streams

A track with them griselda boys

    Thats half the songs

U then let wayne record and then pick the best 5 from a list of 100s of songs ..

A classic album would be done .. the thing about waynes team around is that they dont play to his strengths . They plays to his weaknesses .. awkward beats which makes him get into a horrible pitch voice to try and fight the beat

Carter VI fits well as a sequel to the dark, introspective, post-jail trilogy and will look real nice standing next to the other 5 prequels on my dresser. Some slow moments and misses for me but it's pretty good as a whole & despite the reviews it's like he said, he's just being himself, making the music he wants to make now. I wish it was longer (waiting for Deluxe Version) & some of the rumored features were true (Drake, Nicki, Young Thug, Lil Baby). I love that the Autotune was taken down a notch, as well as slowing his flow down again, giving it a Carter VI base vibe at times mixed with elements of V & III.
That's pretty much exactly how I feel about the album.

    3. Welcome To The Carter
    4. Cotton Candy
    5. Bein Myself

    Happy Album Day, LWHQ Fam!
