Im satisfied with my album like this. Not a big fan of the intro because of the AI sample and the beat sounding outdated to me. I replaced “Island Holiday” and “ Thee Days” with Trippie song and Louisiana Hot Sauce. Honestly Acting funny can go because ive heard the hook used before. 8/10 No complaints this way

Since we seem to agree that a lot of material doesn't step up to Tha Carter standards, lets debate what you would keep on a Carter entry. For me it's:

That was the 2014 Elliot Wilson Interview where he said he's gonna start a new series called Tha Pussy as Elliot straight up confronted him with the biggest fan complaint that he is talking about pussy too much.

I remember years ago him talking about how the difference between a Carter and IANAHB2 or something and saying something along the lines of:
"I know that people have expectations for a Carter album and I know what needs to be delivered, I go into a different mode"

Not an exact quote but it was something very like that.

But it seems like he forgot that the reason Carter albums always do well is because of that, or just doesn't care anymore.

When talking about Funeral he said something like "yeah we could have just called it Carter 6 but we just chose a different name idk".

So there's no difference between the approach he takes to a Carter album versus anything else at this point.

Yeah the age of mixtape weezy going over everyone's beats seems to be over. NC3 was nearly five years ago.
