Welcome to Tha Carter - slaps (great opening) 10/10

Bells - takes time to get into, Verse 2 is dope but songs kinda feels out of place, like it doesn't fit this album. 7/10

Hip-Hop - fire, good chorus, chill beat, good verses, has a good replay value. (Hopefully he makes a video for this). 10/10

Sharks - aight, cool chorus, nice verse from both Wayne and Sean. 7/10

Banned From NO - not sure what to think, weird choice to use the same sample he already used in No Ceilings, so I have to instantly compare it to the original remix, and it's nowhere close to the Banned from TV that he did for NC. So unfortunately, first disappointment from this album - 4/10

The Days - It is what they wanted it to be, a radio song which might appeal to a broader audience and not just Weezy fans, has a good replay value, he will probably make a video for this (he should) - 9/10

Cotton Candy - Not really a fan of 2 Chainz, but song is aight, cool beat, cool lines - 6/10

Flex Up - Dope song, feel like mixing could be better and overall sound of the beat could be better, but still dope - 9/10

Island Holiday - I'm feeling this one, but I'm kinda biased cuz I love Rebirth Wayne and Prom Queen is the first song I ever heard from Wayne. This shit is 10/10 for me, ngl.

    Loki's Theme - It's aight, nothing special - 6/10

If I Played Guitar - Wayne reminds us that he is the most versatile rapper in the game, I guess he tries to make a new How to Love here, but it just doesn't have the same vibe, still the vibe is aight, it's just not the mainstream radio hit they were hoping for I guess - 7/10

Peanuts 2 N Elephant - Respect for Wayne still going for these weird ass beats, this song makes My Homies Still a classic. Beat is awful, not sure who and why put this song here. It literally hurt my ears. (if they make a video for this song then someone in Waynes team is definitely sabotaging him lmao) - 1/10.

Rari - I like Wayne verses, but I really don't fuck with that chorus, shitty lyric in the chorus, and doesn't fit with the kid doing the chorus.. But I respect Wayne for doesn't giving a fuck and promoting his kids. W dad - 7/10

Maria - Idk if you realize but Wayne been doing this for how long and still finds something new and fresh to make. I like this lol - 8/10

Bein Myself - Absolutely fire. Mannie did a great beat, and Wayne went crazy on it. 10/10.

Mula Komin In - This kid is even more cringe than the one on the Rari, Wayne verse was decent. 6/10

Alone in The Studio With My Gun - Dope chorus and both verses. 8/10

Written History - Dope song, nice outro. 8/10

    Overall: 7.5/10.

I really don't get the members of this forum, always overly critical and trashing almost every Wayne project (last 10+ years).. This is a solid Carter album, similar to how Carter 5 was. If you thought you were getting a Carter 3, man, gotta realize Wayne is not in his prime anymore lol, he's getting old..

Anyway, I don't get why All Alone is not on the album, if it was on the album instead of Peanuts 2 N Elephant, it's an instant 8/10 album..

Facts brother, these guys hating way too much you'd think they don't even like Wayne
glad to see an old pal and oldhead here dropping his opinion. Today's a weird day, as I started my day with C6 and I enjoyed it, although it was a lot different than C5 which i found magnificent, but again, you never get the exact same direction in any carter album. And yes it's weird that he put the Peanuts 2 N Elephant, in it, but is it worse than when i first heard my homies still? nope. and in general i don't feel this is his worst moment in the discography that many people are so mad.
And in general to quote your last sentences, I'm sure now he has more haters that they low key enjoy to listen to him. I'm in the weezy subreddit these days as well and the amount of hate is tremendous.
Again, there are moments of brilliance and a great voice and flows and rhymes from him but the choice of features and the bloated feeling of the album, as well as the experimental choices of Wayne make things a little bit complicated.

Daamn bro, how you been? Glad to see you here too
And yeah I agree with what you said.. Ngl, I didn't expect much out of this album or any album/song Wayne is dropping nowadays, so when something is good, I'm very pleasantly surprised, when something is bad, I'm not disappointed, dude's been in the game for soooo long, I'm just glad he's alive and kicking it.

        • People have been waiting so long for this weezy, they ended up falling in love with struggle bars weezy. lol. young heads hear his flow on tracks like welcome to the Carter, bells, Loki, peanuts, etc, and they don't know what to make of it. i guess that's what happens when your popularity spans so many generations of fans and styles.

tbh most of this album is dope so far. I love hearing that OG flow .... I don't think I heard him quite like this in a long ass time. certainly not this consistent, anyway. That flow, especially on the songs I named above, is gravelly, hungry, overflowing with wordplay. Yeah, we gotta put up with some more modern sounding shit too, as always, but the ratio of OG to modern here is kinda in favor of OG.

I feel like every Carter album he's gotta get a little bit of everything in there, lotta boxes to check, lotta rules to follow. So you really can't please everybody. songs like the Island in the sun remake, the guitar song, all that kind of shit is out there, but it's so Wayne. That sort of material can easily be horrible too, but the quality control here is on point.

this shit is fire and I am hard to please. you know an album slaps when even a Bono guest appearance doesn't fuck it up. lmao.

Why would a Bono feature fuck it up?

                  • There's less songs with substance than on C5. Overall a bit disappointed.

                    • Is no one talking about how Kodak Black gave Wayne his worst feature verse ever. That verse was terrible.

And I understand why he's trying to put his kids on his albums but it's got to stop, they are no good

umm, idk, maybe because U2 and Bono fucking suck balls?
