Yeah, Roc Nation is a perfect fit for him. He could have easily become too mainstream and watered down if he signed with YM. His content doesn't fit in.
This has been the album I've been anticipating most all year. More than Reflection Eternal, more than Nas & Damian Marley, more than The Roots, more than Eminem, Drake, Kanye, T.I., etc. He's been my favorite artist since the day The Warm Up dropped and he's the only rapper I've had the privilege of meeting.
Glad that he didn't load his album up with features. I'd love to see him have a song with Jay-Z on there though. I also wouldn't mind him having a North Carolina song with Petey Pablo and Rain as features. I think it'd be a nice tribute to his home state (which he loves to represent) and it could be a radio banger.

He should do a song with Nas that would be EPIC!

To be honest, I'd be SHOCKED if J. Cole didn't have a feature and/or production on Nas's upcoming solo album. Nas has cosigned J. Cole and mentioned him on a few occasions, and J. Cole has said that producing a song for Nas is one of his biggest goals. I expect both J. Cole and Jay Electronica to have features on the album.
