  • Bun Bs Trill OG Crowned A Hip-Hop Classic!

"Congratulations to Rap-A-Lot Records recording artist Bun B for his latest release, Trill OG. In the upcoming issue of The Source, we reviewed albums from a list of Hip-Hop heavy hitters who each has recently released a stunning well-crafted body of work that has shaped the year’s best albums creatively, lyrically and production-wise. The artists albums' that were rated in this issue were, Eminem [Recovery], Rick Ross [Teflon Don], Big Boi [Sir Lucious Left Foot - The Son of Chico Dusty], Fat Joe [The Darkside Vol.1], Drake [Thank Me Later] and The Roots [How I Got Over]."

Naw. It's a very solid album, and it's a great southern album, but calling it a classic would seriously be overrating it. I just can't hear rappers 5-10 years down the road saying their album was inspired by Trill O.G.

Source fell off, from what I've heard of the album it's no way near a classic. Sorry Bun.

Yeah like thats also the way i feel right now. He really deserved it.
Maybe not with this album, but if Underground Kingz with UGK couldnt get it, then its okay he gets that 5 stars now. real talk

this new bunb cd is shitty. i liked the song "snow money" and maybe two others... the beats were so fucking horrible that i wouldn't have recognized it as U.G.K. if nobody told me. most UGK beats are fire, but bun really fucked up on this one, and this was supposedly the CD that he spent the most time getting together... fuckin flop... i love bun for sure, but this CD, bun, is pooh pooh
