I listened to Em WAY before I liked Wayne so much.
In my opinion Encore is the best album ever. Love
every song on it. Then he fell off for a while and
I got into Wayne.

Haven't gotten into his new shit yet... only heard
that 'insane' song, which I found quite.. strange.
And "My Darling" which I quite liked

every song on it. Then he fell off for a while and
I got into Wayne.

Encore his best album ehh? Just goes to show the total difference in people's tastes for music. I thought Encore was a failure not sells-wise but lyrics & music-wise. To me, I think his best two albums by far have been The Marshall Mathers LP & The Eminem Show. Just like he says in the track 'Be Careful What You Wish For':
"Every CD critics gave it a 3, then 3
Years later, they'd go back and re-rate it
And call the Slim Shady LP the greatest
The Marshall Mathers was a classic
The Eminem Show was fantastic
But Encore just didn't have the caliber to match it
I guess enough time just ain't passed, yet
A couple more years, that shit'll be ill-matic "

Although I don't think Encore will ever be considered "Ill-Matic". I also read somewhere that Encore was thrown together due to the beef he had with Ja Rule & Benzino. I heard that Encore was supposed to be the album where he would publicly diss them both but then changed the whole thing & just threw it together to meet the deadline & it was still leaked early. Wonder if that's true tho

Well, it wasn't my favorite album lyrically from Em,
but Encore is that one CD I can put in and listen to every
single song and be like "Damn, that's my song." lol
But I'm still waitin' on an album like that from Wayne,
honestly.
