It seems that Wiz may have been arrested some time tonight. His friend and frequent collaborator Curren$y tweeted just a while ago: “mah yung bro got knocked? where’s mah pittsburgh potna man???” followed by, “they ran on lil bruh’s bus…. im finna smoke this telly down in his honor…” Search Wiz’s mentions and a flurry of #FreeWiz’s will appear. Hope whatever it is, it won’t require any jail time! Wiz is really just starting to break through! Story is developing!
Update 1: It seems he was at a show in North Carolina when this happened. Conflicting reports that he was arrested mid-performance. Doesn’t sound likely…

According to several reports, Wiz Khalifa was arrested tonight following his performance at East Carolina University in Greensville, North Carolina. Allegedly, he was busted for possession of an illegal substance. More details as they come.

Wiz Khalifa Officially Charged With Three Counts & Released On Bond (With Mugshot & Arrest Video)

"The weed loving rapper has been officially charged with three different counts that include two felony drug charges.
According to reports, a large stash of marijuana was found on the bus, although the amount confiscated is not known at the current time.

Wiz was released on a reported $300,000 bond, this morning and made sure to tell his fans that he was doing well.
