Which artist can make an average song fire just by jumping on a track and doing the hook?
T-Pain is my personal fave and from 07-Early 09 everything he touched turned to gold, he's struggling a bit more now even though All I Do Is Win & Hey Baby have done well.
Akon is another, he's hit and miss and a bit samey to me but he's put a lot of artists on even though his hooks don't guarentee a smash anymore since he's done so many. We Takin' Over alone wins him points though.
Nate Dogg is a classic choice and has done some great hook work over the years, plus he was in the game well before Pizzle & 'Kon.
Drake's been on a few hooks outside his own work within the last year, and somehow the autotune gives him a real dreamy (no homo lol), spaced out sound on his voice that's easy to listen to, but his vocals are more suited to babymakers than street anthems IMO.
Wayne has done a few good hooks such as My Life with Game that was great, but there's no denying his singing voice is like a dying budgie fed through a robot.
Finally, The Dream has a great, smooth voice but he's so effortless and smooth that sometimes his tracks and hooks can lack energy and come across boring.
Out of all these I'd choose T-Pain as having the best hooks, but there's plenty more in the game that I haven't mentioned lol, so who would you say in the game right now laces the best hooks?
