To me it's gotta be Chris Brown. He's one of the most talented artists ever. I think this because he can sing, dance, rap, write, has a great vocals and an incredible work ethic. Dropped 3 mixtapes in a year and 3 singles. Got nominated for a mixtape song at the Grammys and has a new double disc album coming out this year and he's only 21, When he reaches his climax he will be noted as the best R&B artist ever.


Well that's my opinion, share yours and try to be mature and not name call and argue on purpose.

Ahh not a fan of Rihanna. I agree w/ YoungTune though, Chris Brown is amazing. One of the most talented and he's only 21!

1. Best Soul/R&B Artist: R. Kelly

The Best:

• Vocals: When a Woman Loves, off Love Letter album
• Song: I Believe I Can Fly, off R. album .. Properly best Soul/R&B-song ever made.
• Overall Artist: His voice is amazing, he produce, arrange and sing all of his own albums, which I find amazing. R. Kelly has an amazing working-ethic too.
• Live Peformance: He sings just as amazing live, as he does on records. Not many artists has that potential.
• He has also wrote and produced hit-songs for artists like: Whitney Houston and Michael Jackson (fx You Are Not Alone).

5. (Craig David) - He has the potential to be a great R&B-singer, but I don't think he proves it as much as he should.
