I don't understand how people don't hate on Wiz's lyrics, he's a cool dude but all he raps about is weed and getting high and throwed ..yet people diss on Wayne when he actually says a whole lot of shit in one song ie 6foot7foot ..i mean ok some of it is recycled but the dude has like 1500 songs in rotation ..Wiz's lyrics are getting repetitive after just a couple of singles . Don't get me wrong , I think the dude has mad potential and will make it far in the industry..I just don't get the double standards..

For me, its because I look for different things in different artists.

Wayne - I expect crazy lyrics, like he used to spit.
Wiz - I expect some chill shit.
Ross - Expecting them bangers.
Lil B - Real shit.
Kid Cudi & Drake - Shit I can relate to.
Etc....

Cool guy, overrated rapper. Abysmal lyrics propped up by a cool attitude and hot beats. Anyone, possibly even laughing stocks like Wakka & Gucci could sound half decent over the Black & Yellow beat.

I'll give his album a chance when it comes out, but I'll probaly end up choosing the best 2-3 stoner anthems out of the lot and only listen to the rest when they come up on shuffle.

Wiz blew up fast, he'll more than likely dissapear just as quickly. No substance to him (besides weed).

Dissapear in terms of relevance, I think Black & Yellow would have been a hit with anyone on it, if he gets a second top 20 smash I'll happily retract what I said lol. I wish the best for Wiz, he seems like a chill bloke, I just don't think he has much reach beyond his current fans.
