Im pretty sure Kendrick Lamar, J Cole, and Big K.R.I.T. got that spot, not Tyler.

Don't get me wrong though Tyler is nice.

I must agree with Gman, tho Tyler's one of my top 5 rappers I'm sure not many people appreciate his style and his odd swag, people would take K dot or Cole rather than tyler just because they can't see the point of his entire work nor comprehend that he ain't pointing his music to the "classic" audience but to the youngest people, those who wanna laugh the fuck out while hearing great lyrics with a swagish deliver which are all subordinated to a story thread.
I had the same feeling with Pharrell, who's another of my fav rappers along with Weezy, T.I, Tyler and Drake.
