after the ofwgkta thread, i thought it might be nice to create a thread of up & coming artists who aren't signed or aren't getting the shine they deserve, so that their music has a better chance of being heard. some of you may want to stick to the soulja boy/based god radio, but this thread is for hip hop at its finest & rawest.

ok, these dudes just signed to a major label (shady), i know, but honestly how many of ya'll bump their shit? if you don't, then you're missing out on a lot. four of the most lyrical emcees in the game right now.

childish gambino is a recent favorite of mine.
his real name is donald glover, he's a comedian, actor, producer, writer...
dude does it all. real intelligent, real funny, but his skills are not a joke.

& plus he puts all his music out for free.

frank ocean is the shit.

strawberry swing & nature feels are my favorites from the album.
