Yeah it is. Swag/confidence/cockiness makes listening to a rapper fun. Of course, it can't make up for garbage lyrics and flow *cough*LIL B*cough*, but I'm sure everyone (or almost everyone) on here has at one point in their life been listening to a song by a rapper they really like and thought "Damn, what a fucking bad ass." or something along those lines. It just makes listening to music better. IMO at least

*Cough* YC and Waka *Cough* both have that swagger but IMO there raps are shit. No lyrical talent what so ever. Waka just likes to make dog noises into the mic.

Lil' Wayne, Birdman, the Young Money crew besides Aubrey (no offense), Lil' B, and a lot of other have crazy swag.

You look at Eminem, Tupac, Biggie, Rakim, Jay-Z, Outkast, Big L, Snoop, etc......all of 'em got crazy swag, so you can't tell me swag doesn't matter.

The way I look at it is, rap is partly artistic and partly entertainment, and a rapper's swag adds to his entertainment value
