"If skills sold, truth be told, I'd probably be lyricly Talib Kweli
Truthfully, I wanna rhyme like common sense
But I did five mil, I ain't been rhymin' like common since"

He admits to it, but mainstream to him his still kind of real rap now since all rap is more mainstream these days than the 90's-early 2000's

        That's Just A Play Wit Words . . . . Moment Of Clarity Ain't Mainstream

Jay-Z Himself Is Mainstream But His Music Aint . . . . . . Nothing He Put Out Is "Mainstream"

        Not Even 99 Problems, Girls Girls Girls Or Song Cry . . . . . . & I Hate JayZ

Moment of Clarity wasn't. But in comparison Blueprint 3 has way more mainstream appeal than Reasonable Doubt, but you're right i don't really think he can be considered mainstream to rappers now, especially since he doesn't sing at all.

Honestly some songs you cant just listen to one time and expect it to click some songs take a few tries, but do whatever you want. I aint mad at ya. Just don't skip it when the album comes out.

Yes. Don't see why you are laughing but ok. Was GKMC "mainstream"? cause some people will argue that Section.80 was classic material and better than GKMC. And GKMC is not a "classic" yet. Just saying.

Can't say that even makes sense (bolded text), because the audience has nothing to do with the artist's album being a timeless piece of work aka "classic" thats all depends on the album itself. The more people that likes an album does not define if it is or isn't a classic. That would just make it a popular album.

Can someone please break down what an classic album is because maybe I am confused?
