I dont feel sorry for big retailers in the least or small "indie" record stores for that matter. Why do they feel they have a right to sell a packaged, boxed, printed, and shipped CD the day of the album release?
The logistics make digital downloads much more economical and safer from potential pre-release leaks happening 3-4 weeks in advance. The way Jay-Z and Kanye have marketed this album is their own deal and obviously the goal of selling records, from the creators of the music viewpoint, is to make sure you get the biggest take home you can... The best margins for artists are always going to be digital releases now, get over yourself brick and mortar CD selling industry.
Found a couple (2-3) UMG removed downloads today, so I think it might be getting closer to really "leaking" out. I'll post here if I find a legitimate dl link.

I gotta feeling the buzz around this album is much more bigger than for Tha Carter IV. Now ofcourse, WTT is released in a few days and C4 will come in a month, but still....

What does the charts say? I know 'How to Love' is doing relly good and Kanye & Jay single not as good, but everyone is looking forward to this album. I read alot about it on different (types) of site's and forums.
