Reviews are about the same anyways, & Vibe who called Born Sinner the saving grace of hiphop didn't give it a score like they did Yeezus, either did Billboard who loved the album.. but they rated Yeezus.
If they gave BS a score and those were added to Metacritic, he'd raise to the 80's.

you're also a little off of your facts. he's didn't aim to outsell Kanye, obviously it'd be badass, but he did it for the art. he knew he had a better album... and to the general public Born Sinner is the better album. all the athletes on twitter or saying Born Sinner, iTunes saying Born Sinner, forums saying Born Sinner, twitter/facebook saying Born Sinner...
Also he's taking a huge W for OUTSELLING Kendrick. Ye is an established artist, of course he'll sell. The OG projections were Kanye 500K, Cole 150-200K.... Now that the public has heard the album Ye is below 400K and Cole is over 300K. The people are speaking...
Let Nas Down is a top hiphop track of the year, that's what hiphop is all about. He let his idol down and is answering back, that's badass to me. Crooked Smile is an amazing record and it's even more dope that he has TLC on it. Talking about imperfections and not giving a fuck, is giving people like you a "L".
He talks about College because that's what he went through... Jay is 13 albums out still talking about drugs and shit. Who cares? They talk about what they went through, it's what hiphop is about bro... smh.

Cole was mainstream around 2010, he should outsell Kendrick who just came into the spotlight late last year.
Let Nas Down isn't a top track of the year either. In a interview he said how him drake and Kendrick should try and shoot past Nas Hov etc..He has failed to even reach their level they were at with 2 albums in...and the track he's sucking Nas's dick. Just because someone doesn't like one of your radio singles doesn't mean you should make a full song about how you failed them.
He definitely tried to outsell Ye. Thats why he went on that rant about not selling more. Now hes begging people to go out and buy it.
He didn't show any growth at all. His first album had way more amazing tracks then any on this new one.
Hov showed up to Ye's listening party but not Cole's.
And he lost to Diggy big time
