yeah and i can respect that. like i wouldn't go in to a bieber thread to hate, or open a link of one of his new songs just to hate it because i'm not in to his shit, so i move it along.. but if he's coming in to rap thinking true hip hop heads are going to just hold the door open for a flood of shitty bieber raps then i will start to hate, because he's entering into a whole other other monster and i'm not going to eat it up just because it's the biebs, dig.

i mean, like someone previously said, the raps he's put out that we have heard were other people's lyrics, and just because he can rap along with other people's verses doesn't show me that he has "potential", it shows me that he has just as much skill as any other random person we see any other day or any other rap fan who knows the lyrics he sings as well.

all in all, i think some cats around here are being extra lenient just because of who he is, and that's not the way the hip hop game is. but whatevs, /endrant. haha

I haven't seen it that way tbh. But we all know he is a puppy who doesn't decide anything he says or does. But the decision to do rap was probably his idea. I don't think they told him to do that. So he might want to have this as a sideprojecft, his own thing. And I just let the guy have fun. If he is decent and actually puts work in it, it might turn out good, if not then not. nahmsayin'?
